One of the main aims of the International Relations Office is to accomplish the goals of the Sorbonne Joint Declaration, together with the subsequent declarations of Bologna, Prague and Berlin. The University of Messina is committed to creating new partnerships with foreign universities to promote research projects and exchange programmes at an international level by using to the fullest funding opportunities offered by the European Union. Outstanding results have been achieved both in terms of mobility, mostly within the European programme LLP/Erasmus and in terms of European and International academic partnerships and cooperation.
